A Saint-Ferdinand company bottles water… also for cats!

“It is water that we distil at our Saint-Ferdinand plant and for which we have developed a recipe that allows us to balance its pH between 6.2 and 6.4 and to make a product that can help prevent urinary problems in cats. “

To make room for this new line and more storage space, the company is completing expansion work of around 8,000 square feet. Cat water is already sold in 500 ml under the Catwater brand and the new line will increase the speed.

“It’s a market that is growing exponentially. “We are currently selling cat water for private labels. The water is found in various pet stores across the country as well as in the United States, where sales are very strong, as well as in Japan, South Korea, Australia, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). ”

A new multi-take bottle

On the other hand, Eau Everest is in the process of developing, with a Montreal firm, a new 4-liter multi-outlet type bottle which will soon be on the market for its natural spring water.

“We are aiming for a more international market with this exclusive bottle to our own brand.”

As for the 18-liter format, the company has ceased large-scale distribution, the competition being very fierce in Quebec. “However, we have kept the Victoriaville-Princeville-Plessisville road in very limited volume to continue to serve a clientele that is dear and loyal to us,” he concluded.

Eau Everest, a company founded over 35 years ago in Victoriaville, relocated to Saint-Ferdinand in 2015 after acquiring a water source in range 6. It built a factory there. modern of a few million $ related to the existing building which exploited the water resource.
