A Russian MiG-31 fighter intercepted a strategic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 of the US Air Force over the neutral waters of the Bering Sea.
“The crew of the Russian fighter identified an air target as a strategic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 of the US Air Force and escorted it over the waters,” the National Defense Management Center of Russia said in a statement.
In the Baring Sea is the sea border between Russia and the United States.
