The Russian doctor and journalist, Yevgeny Komarovsky, spoke on his blog on “Telegram” about simple ways to get to know a person infected with the Coronavirus.
He said that one of the most important evidences of human infection with “Covid-19” is the loss of the sense of smell and taste. He explained that it is possible to try this method, as it is a confirmed diagnosis of a person being infected with “Covid-19”. The smell test, for example, is a simpler and more accurate method than measuring temperature, according to the “Russia Today” website.
The doctor said he prefers to suggest a patient who is likely to smell or taste something to confirm that he is infected with the Coronavirus.
The doctor stressed the need to wear face masks and gloves, wash hands with soap and use sterilizers.
It is noteworthy that Russia is now witnessing a remarkable increase in the number of people infected with “Covid-19”. Therefore, experts recommend seeing a doctor as soon as the symptoms of infection with the Coronavirus are discovered, instead of using self-treatment methods.
