The world of portable consoles seems to have been reborn by the hand of the Nintendo Switch and the next launch of the Steam Deck, in this context it is that a rumor has arisen that indicates that Microsoft would be working on portable Xbox.
The information comes from the editor of Windows Central, Jez Corden, (Via GameReactor) who pointed out that Microsoft has started thinking about its first handheld gaming unit, noting that they have “Been dabbling in portable Xbox prototypes for some time now.”
It should be mentioned that this is not the first time that Microsoft has considered having a laptop, since it was known a while ago that on one occasion there were internal conversations which finally never materialized.
At the moment this remains a rumor, but without a doubt given that Microsoft owns Xbox Cloud Gaming, it does not seem entirely unreasonable for them to seek to have their own portable device.
