A royal wedding is coming: this princess is engaged

Festive news from Liechtenstein, as a royal wedding has been announced there. In the summer of 2025, the daughter of Hereditary Prince Alois, Princess Marie Caroline, will tie the knot with her partner. Read more in this article.

Yesterday, the hereditary Prince Alois, father of the bride, announced that his daughter was engaged to the partner of Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer.

Who is Princess Marie Caroline?

Princess Marie Caroline of Liechtenstein is the second of four children of Hereditary Prince Alois and Hereditary Princess Sophie and a granddaughter of the current Liechtenstein monarch, Prince Hans-Adam. In the photo at the top of this article, Marie Caroline is still a little girl, but Alois and Sophie’s only daughter is now 28 years old. In recent years, Marie Caroline studied in Paris and New York. After her studies, she did not return to the principal but went to live in London, where she works in the fashion industry. Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer

Marie Caroline’s husband is Venezuelan-born Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer. Leopoldo studied in England and worked in the financial sector in Paris and New York. He has been living in London since 2016. In the picture below you can see him with Princess Marie Caroline.
