A group of Ferencváros fans attacked the bus as the footballers were returning to their hotel from training at the Groupama Arena stadium.
–
The Hungarian authorities assumed something like this. Supporters of the reigning Hungarian champions attacked the bus despite the fact that, according to local media, it was accompanied by an escort of three police vehicles.
–
The damage to the bus has not yet been calculated. The perpetrators managed to break one of the windows and damaged the paintwork in several places.

The hatred between the fans of both clubs has been there for 30 years. During the mutual duel between Slovan and Ferencváros, the Slovak anti-terrorist commando even intervened at the Slovan stadium. Several Hungarian fans were injured during the event, dozens of them ended up in handcuffs.

Events from 1992 before Wednesday’s duel were recalled by both Hungarian and Slovak media.
