The award-winning actress brings to Studio Universal a romantic comedy where getting married will be her only goal, despite the setbacks of fate that will have a surprise in store for her.
Next January 31 at 8pm MEX/LATAM and 10pm ARG/CHI., Universal Studio will put on the screen a love movie where not everything will go as planned.

As another year goes by without a marriage proposal, decorator Anna Brady (Amy Adams) decides it’s time to make a decision. When she learns that an old Irish tradition ensures that on February 29 a woman can propose to her boyfriend with the certainty of not being rejected, for this reason, Anna decides to follow her fiancé and take the big step.
However, adversity plays a trick on him; planes are delayed, the weather has its way and bad luck is on their side, leaving Anna lost in another part of Ireland. Faced with this difficult scenario, he has no choice but to ask for help from the moody and carefree Declan (Matthew Goode), on whom he will depend to reach his destination and thus be able to carry out his mission.
As Anna and Declan bicker across the Emerald Isle, they discover something they should have guessed: the road to love leads to unexpected places.

“Leap-year” is directed by Anand Tucker (“Hilary & Jackie”, “Shopgirl”) and written by the duo Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont. In addition to its protagonists, it has a large cast made up of: John Lithgow, Adam Scott, Kaitlin Olson, Peter O’Meara, Michael J.
