A robber in Tukums pulls a purse out of his pocket and even takes away alcohol

Dace Kalniņa, a representative of the Zemgale Regional Office of the State Police, informed LETA of a man robbed in Tukums on Wednesday, from whom alcohol was pulled from his hands, but from his pocket.

Police have been reported to have been robbed in Tukums, Pļavas Street – for a man born in 1964, two men snatched a purse containing 15 euros from the back pocket of his trousers, as well as a bag containing alcoholic beverages.

Thanks to the recordings of the city’s surveillance cameras, law enforcement officers managed to arrest the two possible culprits on the same day. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against the police.
