The price of gold fell during trading today, Sunday in Egypt, and the gram is down £30 in one go, from what it was at the start of trading.
And the price of an ounce of gold jumped £30 as trading began from its level last night, before returning to the same value.
Gold prices today
The price of 14-karat gold has dropped to £1,100 per gram.
The price of 18-karat gold fell to £1414 per gram.
And the price of 21-karat gold has dropped to £1,650 per gram.
And the price of 24-karat gold has dropped to £1,886 per gram.
The price of the gold pound
The price of the gold pound has dropped to £13,200, and the price can vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound.
The global price of gold
Today is an official holiday on the world stock exchanges, to resume work tomorrow, Monday.
The global price of gold recorded at the close of trading last Friday, the last session of the week, was around 1797 dollars an ounce, up 0.46%, according to data from the Bloomberg agency.
