A woman was walking down the street with her little daughter in her arms. She was shot by a drunk local resident. The child died on the spot.
A resident of the Shchekinsky district of the Tula region of Russia fired a shotgun at a woman who had a little daughter in her arms. The child died at the scene, the woman was hospitalized, informs press service of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
The tragedy took place on Sunday, August 8th.
“A local resident suspected of killing a young child and attempted murder of a woman has been detained in the Tula region … A criminal case has been initiated,” the message says.
According to the investigation, in the village of Panarino, a 69-year-old local resident in a state of alcoholic intoxication fired a gun at a 42-year-old woman who was walking down the street with her daughter in her arms.
A 2.5-year-old child was wounded in the head and died on the spot.
In the near future, the issue of choosing the detainee as a preventive measure in the form of detention will be resolved.
