The robbers were detained

On the territory of the recreation center Sosnovy Bor in Svyatogorsk, two residents of Konstantinovka attacked a woman and a man.

In the Donetsk region, law enforcement officers detained two men who are suspected of attacking a resident of Sloviansk and stealing $ 300,000. About it informs regional prosecutor’s office on Wednesday 14 April.

It was established that on April 12, at about 22:30, two residents of Konstantinovka, 40 and 42 years old, on the territory of the Sosnovy Bor recreation center in Svyatogorsk, attacked a woman and a man in order to seize their money.

After beating both of them, the attackers tried to strangle the woman with a rope, after which they took away her bag and suitcase, which contained documents and money. After that, the criminals fled. The victims were hospitalized in the city hospital.

Two offenders were detained. A pre-trial investigation has begun on the fact of a robbery with the aim of taking possession of property on an especially large scale, committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons (part 4 of article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The attackers face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 8 to 15 years with confiscation of property. Now the issues of informing them about the suspicion and choosing a preventive measure are being resolved. The pre-trial investigation continues.

It was previously reported that Odessa citizen “politely” robbed shop assistant. The man, knowing that an elderly woman was working in the store, deliberately entered there with the aim of robbery. During interrogation, he assured that the saleswoman was “politely asked” to part with the proceeds and the ring.

It also became known that in Zaporozhye three young boys robbed local eco-shop for 8000 hryvnia. The children were detained by the police.
