A resident of Chartres and one of Luisant summoned to court for cocaine trafficking

A 27-year-old Chartrain and a 28-year-old Luisantais will appear before the Chartres court on May 13 for trafficking in narcotics. After asking to prepare their defense during their immediate appearance on Friday, the first was placed in pre-trial detention, the second under judicial supervision.

An anonymous call

The investigation began in October following an anonymous tip. The informant would have revealed, to the narcotics brigade of Chartres, the existence of drug trafficking in Chartres. And gave the dealer’s phone number.

The suspect was immediately wiretapped, then located in Mainvilliers. The narcotics squad used a whole range of technological tools to identify the network, but also traditional means such as taking photographs and spinning. Investigations that lasted five months.

Code name: “The jerseys have arrived”

The police have determined the modus operandi of the alleged dealer. He would have used to inform his Chartres customers that he could supply them with cocaine, by an SMS: “The jerseys have arrived. »

Using different rental vehicles, he would have made several deliveries. The drug sales would also have taken place in his own vehicle, in that of the consumers or on foot, in the hyper city center.

The gram of cocaine would have been resold for €70. The investigators reportedly identified 127 presumed clients, all from well-to-do social backgrounds, including heads of businesses and companies, executives, etc. Clients who, according to the investigations, came out of bars on purpose to obtain cocaine before to return to consumption. Not to mention alleged customers from the middle of the night.

The investigations led the police to a supposed “nurse”, in Luisant, where the drugs were stored and the pouches made. The arrest phase could begin.

Monday, March 28, the intervention section of the Chartres police station checked the alleged dealer near his home, in Mainvilliers. The man would not have let it go and would have tried to flee. A stun gun was used to subdue him.

An alleged “nurse” identified

The search at his home (he lives with his parents) would not have revealed cocaine, nor a scale to weigh the drug pouches. But the canine unit dog would have “marked” in front of the suspect’s bed. Under the bed, a tracksuit containing €1,885.

Simultaneously, another team from the narcotics squad carried out a search of the man suspected of being the “nanny”, in Luisant. They would have found only empty pouches.

In hearing, the Luisantais would have indicated that he sometimes lent his accommodation to a friend and denied being involved in drug trafficking. He would have put forward that professionally, he planned to set up a company in the construction industry.

As for the Chartrain, who would be in a state of recidivism, after a drug case in Rouen (Seine-Maritime) in 2018, he was negotiating the purchase of a building in Nogent-le-Phaye to create a company there.

€20,000 monthly turnover

About twenty presumed consumers have already been interviewed. According to the police, one of them admitted having bought €20,000 worth of cocaine in one year. Others would have consumed several grams per month. According to the calculations of the investigators, the alleged dealer would have generated a monthly turnover of 20,000 €.

The investigation into the cocaine users of this alleged network continues.
