On May 8, Rodrigue Chouinard, from Baie-Saint-Paul, realized a dream: to play Loto-Québec’s La Poule aux eggs d’or. Assessment of his appearance on TV: a prize of $25,000. The retiree hopes to use this gain to acquire a cottage by the river.
“I’ve always dreamed of going there! My wish has finally come true,” said the winner, who had bought his ticket at the Cadeko convenience store, located at 101, rue Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Baie-Saint-Paul.
And for the game show connoisseurs, Mr. Chouinard opted for egg number 13, in which was a prize of $17,000, which enabled him to walk away with a total of $25,000.
