The scandal continues, the versions conflict. This Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the report of the bailiff mandated by France Télévisions to analyze the rushes of the show Additional Investigation dedicated to Gérard Depardieu was revealed by our colleagues at Parisian.
The bailiff had access to rushes from three camerasone fixed on Gérard Depardieu, a second captured the scene in wide shot, and a camcorder carried by a relative of Yann Moix provided a third angle of images. For the actor, the report is damning.

Reminder of the facts. In a sequence of Additional Investigation, we could see Gérard Depardieu, during a trip to North Korea with Yann Moix in 2018, sexualizing a child of around ten years old.
The little girl was riding horses at a stud farm. “If he ever gallops, she cums, she’s my girl!” Keep going! », blurted the actor, facing the camera. Via his lawyers, Gérard Depardieu had contested his remarks, indicating that he was not speaking to the little girl, but to another rider.
According to the bailiff’s report, this possibility is however excluded.

During this sequence, I notice that with the exception of the young girl, only male-looking riders enter the foreground of the cameras.

But this is not the worst that can be read in the report. If the remarks broadcast by Additional Investigation are already shocking, the bailiff reveals that in reality the production chose to broadcast only part of it.
Gérard Depardieu would indeed have added other aberrant commentsas well as “guttural onomatopoeia”. We see and hear him say: “No, but if he makes her gallop, she gets wet, she comes, you know that those who do the salt route, or the crazy women who are on horseback, their clits rub on the top of the… on the pommel of the saddle”…
Two trials against Gérard Depardieu
This is not Gérard Depardieu’s only legal dispute: the 75-year-old actor must be tried on October 28, 2024 before the Paris criminal court for sexual assaults committed on two women during the filming of the film “Les Volets vertes” , in 2021. A trial was also requested against him in August before the departmental criminal court for rape and sexual assault on the actress Charlotte Arnould.
“A fiction” for Gérard Depardieu’s lawyer
Guest of BFM this Tuesdaylawyer Jérémie Assous admits to having “never disputed that he made these comments”. However, Gérard Depardieu’s defense believes that there is “deception” and that it is “illicit editing” on the part of the production.
Further investigation would have “sold this as information” when it was, according to Me Assous, “from a work of fiction”. He claims to have “a certain number of documents” demonstrating that these images were shot as part of a project for a “feature-length work of fiction with Yann Moix as director”.
The Paris Court of Appeal ordered a new expertise of the rushes of the sequence. This time at the request of Gérard Depardieu and Yann Moix. This expertise, put forward by Gérard Depardieu, must be presented to the court in the coming days.
