If the president of the Métropole de Lyon finally seems to have loyal and efficient collaborators, the mayor of Lyon is still groping.
According to Grandstand of Lyon, he decided to administer the services of Joakim Le Menestrel. The aptly named will have the task of distilling the little music of the Town Hall on social networks. He will also have to look into relations with journalists and Grégory Doucet’s communication.
At only 23 years old, this Parisian is currently busy. He is invested in Yannick Jadot’s presidential campaign. It is therefore only at the end of April that he will take up his post in Lyon. Unless the EELV candidate wins the ballot.
A graduate of Sciences-Po Grenoble and Panthéon-Sorbonne, Joakim Le Ménestrel previously worked with Julien Bayou and David Belliard. In 2020, he co-founded Common Resilience to unite left-wing youth, two years before the presidential election. In his interviews at the time, he dreamed of reaching 1,500 members to convince the left to unite around a common program to have a chance of finishing at the Elysée. Mission failed…
He had also co-signed in April 2021 a forum in Mediapart to call “associative, union and political activists committed to human emancipation” at “fight the far right”and to make it their “common enemy”.
