The student council of the Monseigneur-Beaudoin-Les Sources adult education center won a regional prize in the OSEntreprendre Challenge under the school component in the vocational training and adult education category.
Five students have created a mini-business with the recreation technician from the adult education center, François Lemieux. The project took place over a year.
Committee members came up with the idea for a mobile mini-golf project. In collaboration with the carpentry-joinery department of the POZER Vocational Training Center, the participants created nine easily transportable mini-golf installations.
The committee then rented the facilities to schools in the area. The programming is also almost complete by the end of the school year. Schools interested in renting the facilities can visit the MINIGOLF mobile cea Facebook page.
Participants won a $ 500 scholarship. They chose to donate the amount to the Perseverance and Academic Success Foundation.
Their project will soon be judged at the provincial level of OSEntreprendre.
