The city of Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture announced on Jan. 8 that 926 people aged 0 to 90 had recently been infected with the new coronavirus. The total number of infected people in the city has reached 74,081.
According to the announcement, by age group, 7 people aged 0, 45 people aged 1-4, 40 people aged 5-9, 107 people aged 10-19, 155 people aged 20-29, 127 people aged 30-39, 40 – 134 49 years old, 125 50-59 years old, 51 60-64 years old, 32 65-69 years old, 64 70-79 years old years, 28 80-89 years, 11 90 years and over.
The total number of infected people in the city from January 1 to 8, 2023 was 3296 (December 26, 2022 to January 1, 2023 = 3353), which is the number of infected people per 100,000 population, the number is 1063, 23 people. Equivalent to stage IV (burst of infection) in the national index (25 or more people).
