A record! 7,620 euros per square meter of “Oborishte”

There was a sharp outflow from the capital’s luxury real estate market during the summer. Requests and deals concluded have decreased by 30%, and for standard homes the decrease is even 50%, announced Vesela Ilieva, owner of one of the main real estate agencies for luxury properties in our country, Unique Estates.

“The year has been a success because the momentum of 2021 has continued. During the summer the requests decreased and we initially thought that the decrease was due to the season. But it continued after that,” Ilieva said.

This year, another price record was set. The most expensive deal is in “Oborishte” street in the capital: an apartment was sold for 7,620 euros per square metre.

The average price in this area is around 3,900 euros and has increased by 26% this year. The growth is also substantial in the residential area “Iztok” – 40%, where the average price is over 2,100 euros per square meter, it exceeds 2,000 euros in “Lozenets” and in the center of the capital.

In general, the increase in prices in the most expensive segment of housing in our market this year is about 23%. Ilieva does not expect this type of housing – luxury apartments and houses – to become cheaper in the coming year.
