By Good Friday – April 10, temperatures will rise by a degree or two, and the sun will break through the clouds more and more often. For Thursday and Friday, the forecasters predict that the maximum temperatures will be between 8 and 12 degrees, in places in the country and higher. The morning temperatures will remain around 0 degrees, on the high fields of Western Bulgaria they will also be negative, but close to zero.
From April 11 – Saturday, the weather will stabilize and temperatures will rise by around 5 degrees, with the expected maximum values for the day before Easter – Holy Saturday, between 16 and 20 degrees, in places and higher. It will also be sunny over the whole country. Morning temperatures during the Easter days will be positive up to 5-8 degrees. Easter Sunday will be warmer than Saturday, with maximum temperatures rising by a further 1-2 degrees, but cloud will appear in parts of the country. Maximum temperatures will be around and above 20 degrees.
During the second day of Easter – Monday – April 13, the weather will remain warm and spring-like. A slight cooling with showers is expected from Tuesday, but temperatures will be the usual for April. Winter is not expected to surprise us anymore at least until the end of the month.
