He explained, that this process was done in which lung work was completely dispensed with by taking blood from the femoral vein, and oxidizing it by Akimu device Then it returns to the right atrium, and thus the lung work is completely dispensed with, and it is stopped completely during surgery for a period of up to 3 hours, and the lung is partially dispensed for 24 hours, and the ukimo device is used.
He said that the patient was discharged from the hospital, and he is currently in good health, and he lives in the right lung only, and the surgery was performed at the Academy of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Ain Shams, with a full medical team headed by Dr. Ahmed Mustafa, Professor of Thoracic Surgery, and Dr. Adel Al-Ansari, Professor of Intensive Care and Anesthesia. Dr. Ihab Mahmoud, a global ICMO expert, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Karadani, a professor of cardiac surgery.
