In Irpen, Kiev region, a unique German car Opel P4 of 1935 was found. Despite the fact that the car stood in a simple wooden garage for almost 70 years, it started up immediately.
This was reported by the portal TopJir… The transport has been preserved almost in its original configuration (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
After the end of World War II, Opel was first brought from Germany to the Leningrad region as a trophy, and then it ended up on the territory of Ukraine. The car retained the license plates that were issued to motorists from 1946 to 1959.
Most of the original parts and assemblies are reasonably well preserved. Moreover, transport can drive, although since 1953 it has simply stood in the garage idle. The car is of interest to collectors.
It is noted that the Opel P4 was produced in 1934-37 and a total of 66 thousand copies of this model were collected. It is equipped with a 1.1-liter four-cylinder engine with 23 horsepower and a 4-speed manual transmission.
