The condolences of the late businessman Raouf Ghabbour began today, Saturday evening, in the presence of numerous businessmen, politicians and public figures in the Cathedral of St. Mark in Abbasiya.
Among the most prominent participants, Gamal Mubarak, son of the late President of the Republic, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, appeared with his wife, Khadija El-Gammal, in an appearance that does not happen often.
Pope Tawadros had celebrated mass this afternoon in “Ghabbour”, in the presence of many church leaders and people.
Raouf Ghabbour died on Wednesday after a long battle with cancer.
The church mourned Raouf Ghabbour, earlier, saying, “We bid farewell to the heaven of bliss, businessman Raouf Ghabbour, who rested today, after a life filled with positive and constructive work, with noble human giving.” .
