a rally against the nuisances of the Grand Paris Express project organized in Bondy

This Saturday, a demonstration will take place in Bondy. A group of collectives meets in order to denounce the nuisances caused by the Grand Paris Express project in the department.

On the initiative of the Anti-Nuisances Bondy collective, many groups are meeting this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Bondy to protest against the nuisance caused by the Grand Paris Express project. The demonstrators intend to demonstrate against the eviction and demolition of the pavilions located on rue Etienne Dolet.

Among their concerns is also the storage of 230,000 tonnes of rubble and the installation of a concrete plant within 5 meters of a nursery. Finally, they want to voice their dissatisfaction with the closure of a pedestrian bridge near the Gare de Bondy for several years because of the work. The groups fear the endangerment of children.

Bondy is affected by the arrival of line 15 of the Grand Paris Express after 2030. In a press release relating to the gathering, the collectives denounce a lack of consultation with the inhabitants in decision-making relatives to construction sites. The demonstrators denounce “a change of tactics without informing the inhabitants” and evoke “an unacceptable force passage” on the part of the Société du Grand Paris.
