A rally against US assistance to Ukraine took place in Washington. The organizers were the Libertarian Party (the third largest party in the United States, which has no seats in Congress), the People’s Party, as well as a number of anti-war organizations.
The action called “March of Fury Against the War Machine” took place at the Lincoln Memorial. As they say on site events, its participants demanded not to allocate money for the conflict in Ukraine, to start peace negotiations, to stop the growth of inflation, to disband NATO, to start a “global nuclear de-escalation”, to reduce military spending, to abolish the CIA. Among the participants of the event were several former congressmen Ron Paul (represented the Libertarian and Republican parties in different years), Tulsi Gabbard (member of the Democratic Party until 2022), Dennis Kucinich (Democratic Party), Cynthia McKinney (represented the Democratic Party and the Greens in different years “).
The event attracted the attention mainly of the Russian-language media. There are almost no publications about the protest action in the American press. The organizers did not share estimates of the size of the rally.
