A protester enters the gate of the Russian embassy abroad in Ireland – News

Police detained the man. No one was injured in the incident.

The video shows the truck slowly entering the gate behind it. The driver then got out of the car and showed pictures showing the atrocities committed by Russia in Ukraine.

He said he wanted to create a safe corridor for the Russian ambassador so that he could leave Ireland.

“I’ve done my part, guys. Now it’s time for the rest of Ireland to do its part,” the man said as the police took him away.

In response, Russia accused Ireland of failing to comply with international law without protecting the embassy.

The embassy complained that the police had watched what was happening and had not intervened.

There have been daily protests at the Russian Embassy in Dublin since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on February 24. The entrance to the embassy has been repeatedly marked in red with inscriptions such as “Nazis” and “Blood on your hands”.
