Protest delays new factory yard in Güttingen – Uncertainty about electricity prices: EKT is still kicked
The budget assembly of the city of Güttingen approves all transactions. The tax rate will remain at 54 percent next year. The Hornbach has a new water pipe.
The loan of 460,000 francs for a new water pipe for the Hornbach was also accepted. The old pipe is partially broken and in danger of collapsing. 90,000 francs was also approved for the conversion of the old community center into an after school care center and the rental of rooms above. This means that the sale of the building is off the table for now.
The 2025 budget, which foresees costs of 9 million and a loss of 33,000 francs and a tax rate of 54 percent, was approved. The return delivery fees for PV electricity caused uncertainty. The EKT has not released any hard information here. The return delivery fees will be harmonized throughout Switzerland from January 2025, adjusted to the market price and updated every quarter.
