Hundreds of citizens gathered in the National Assembly Square this evening to express their position against sending weapons to Ukraine. The march for peace and neutrality began tonight with drums and bagpipes. Almost every participant waves the Bulgarian tricolor. The monument to Tsar Osvoboditel is also covered with the Bulgarian flag.

–The demonstration was organized via Facebook and is under the motto: “All-Bulgarian March for Peace and Neutrality”.
Those present carried Bulgarian flags and posters calling for Bulgaria’s complete neutrality in the war in Ukraine. A group of people in traditional costumes joined the protest.
The citizens declare that Bulgaria should not be a party to the military conflict in Ukraine, not to give weapons or military aid to Kyiv.
Traffic in the protest area is blocked.
A similar march for peace and neutrality is being held in other cities in the country.
