The two main actors ofA prince in New York will return for this long-awaited sequel, more than 30 years after the release of the first film directed by John Landis in 1988.
Entitled Coming 2 America (A prince in New York 2), it features the new King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his friend Semmi (Arsenio Hall). They must return to New York to find Akeem’s son in order to prepare him to be the future heir to the kingdom of Zamunda.
Directed by Craig Brewer, A prince in New York 2 will be available on the Amazon Prime Video platform starting March 5.
