The famous Eddy Murphy is back as Prince Akeem for new adventures on American soil. More than 30 years after the original A prince in New York, the second part is finally ready, and the first teaser has just been unveiled. It will be available from March 5, 2021 on Amazon Prime.
For this second chapter, we obviously find Eddy Murphy who does not seem to have aged a bit, and his sidekick Arsenio Hall as Semmi, the brother and advisor of Prince Akeem. Approaching his coronation to become King of Zamunda (nation fictive) Prince Akeem (Eddy Murphy) finds out he has a hidden son named Lavelle who lives in Queens, to the States–United. The two brothers therefore set out again to conquer America to find the hidden son of the Prince..
