The event is aimed at students and academics from all faculties of the National University of La Plata (UNLP).
The Computer Art Congress (CAC): “Computational Art and Digital Design in the Age of Generative Artificial Intelligence” will take place at the National University of La Plata (UNLP) between October 30 and November 2. The prestigious training event is organized by the Faculty of Arts of the UNLP, together with the Paragraphe Laboratory of the University Paris 8 Vincennes-Saint Denis, France, and will take place at the Convention Center of the Sergio Karakachoff Building in the city.
According to university authorities, the activity is aimed at students, teachers and directors of all academic units, who will be able to participate by submitting extended summaries, of up to 500 words in English, until September 12.
Among the topics to be worked on related to AI, they mentioned: Human and non-human intersections; AI retrospectives: Building Memories; AI prospectives: Speculative Design and Possible Futures; AI, Media, Gender: Old/New Practices?; AI as a Black/White/Gray Box?; among other aspects related to art, communication and artificial intelligence.
