Gente Maravillosa is a program on the Canary Islands regional television that Eloísa González presents every Monday night. They use hidden cameras to record the reactions of different people and bring those who behave outstandingly to the set to put them “like example of civility and good values“.
However, this Monday they received a visit from Rebeca Paniagua, another well-known Canarian television presenter, who approached Gente Maravillosa with the supposed intention of acting as a godmother. However, what she got was a huge surprise when they put a video that ended in a wedding request.

The video shocked Rebeca so much that, at the end, she said “wait, wait, I have to assimilateMeanwhile, the host of the program, Eloísa González, who could not suppress her surprise because she did not know what was going to happen either, answered categorically: “What the hell do you have to assimilate.” You can see here the full video.

The monumental surprise had been carried out by Raúl Pulido, Rebeca’s partner and it so happens that works as a filmmaker on the show Wonderful People television program. When the video ended, it was the presenter who repeated the marriage offer, to which Rebeca responded with a “yes, of course.”

Then Raúl Pulido entered the scene, emotionally hugging Rebeca and greeted his future in-laws, Lali and Esteban, who are watching the program from home and were part of the audience that appeared virtually on the studio’s big screen. The filmmaker acknowledged that he had previously hinted at the possibility of getting married to his partner, but that he found in this idea the perfect formula to propose.
“I’ve had to come to Gente Maravillosa and put on this gibberish for him to say yes,” Raúl said. Rebeca, for her part, acknowledged that “it’s a wonder of man“And that, therefore, he could not say anything other than ‘yes’. After a tender kiss goodbye, Raúl returned to his job as the director of the program and Rebeca said goodbye to the biggest surprise she had ever received in her life .
