In Greece there is an alert for heavy rains and the risk of flooding due to “Eva”, the storm that is expected to enter the country this afternoon.
Heavy rains tomorrow and Sunday will make driving difficult, with traffic police paying particular attention to drivers to avoid areas with heavy rainfall.
Before setting off, drivers should inform themselves about the weather conditions and, if possible, only travel if necessary with fully functional cars.
Rain and heavy thunderstorms are expected in much of mainland Greece. The islands will also be affected, according to forecasts by meteorologists for the weekend.
Part of the ferry traffic is expected to be suspended at that time, BNR reported.
