A powerful storm hit Burgas within 10-20 minutes. Shortly after 6:30 p.m., torrential rain accompanied by hurricane-force winds poured over the city. Gusts of wind broke many branches along the central streets of the city. In a short period, streets turned into rivers, making traffic difficult.
The rain forced many citizens of Burgas walking on the central streets at that time to seek protection in nearby cafes and shops.
We remind you that an orange code for dangerous weather has been issued for today in the Burgas region and that night the temperatures will drop by more than 10 degrees.
From tomorrow, the precipitation will stop in Western Bulgaria, but in the rest of the country it will remain rainy, windy, and in places with thunder activity. In the mountains it will be mostly cloudy, windy and with rain showers.
Above about 1900 meters, the precipitation will be from snow. The quantities will be more significant in the Central Balkan region, Sredna Gora, Sakar and Strandzha.
Along the Black Sea it will be cloudy, windy and with rain. Along the northern coast, the amounts of precipitation will be significant.
A strong and gusty wind will blow from the north-northwest. Maximum temperatures will be 15° -17°.
The temperature of the sea water is 22°-23°. The excitement of the sea will be 3-4 points.
