A new hurricane has formed in the Atlantic and has been named Oscar, the US National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
According to the center, the hurricane is now about 265 kilometers east of the Bahamas and about 470 miles east of the city of Camagüey, Cuba. The maximum wind speed at the center of the hurricane is 129 km/h.
