A magnitude 6.0 earthquake shook the Greek island of Crete today, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center announced.
The hearth was at a depth of 10 km. The epicenter is 175 km east of Heraklion. The Greek Institute of Geodynamics has determined a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale at a depth of 6.4 km.
So far there are no data on injured people and material damage, BTA reported
