Hamill has previously advocated honoring Carrie Fisher with a star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, noting that deceased celebrities could be honored five years after their deaths. Fisher, best known as Princess Leia, died at the age of 60 in December 2016.
It is not clear from the publication when the opening ceremony of the star of Carrie Fisher is planned for next year.
