Kamila Filu is known to almost everyone who is interested in film in the Czech Republic or who watches discussions on social networks. The author of this text had the opportunity to follow his author’s career from the very beginning. Even when Kamil was a film student, he showed considerable intellectual insight and, above all, the ability to look at things anew, without the filters that society and majority opinion give them. But is the Force a documentary about Kamil Fila? The author Martin Mareček, a two-time holder of the Czech Lion, claims that Síla is a highly author’s work, so it is more about Mareček than Fi.
