A former Russian police officer came out on Red Square with a poster “Freedom for Navalny. Putin is a killer”.
Minutes later, retired Major Oleg Kashintsev was taken to the regional police station, Radio Svoboda reported. He was wearing a police uniform during the demonstration.
The detainee is accused of violating the rules of protest and illegal wearing of uniform. He has worked in law enforcement for 18 years.
After his detention, protocols were drawn up for him, after which he was released but appeared before the court.
