In the Odessa region, on the Odessa-Voznesensk-Novy Bug highway, a Subaru car collided with a MAN truck. In this accident, a 43-year-old passenger car driver died – a police officer who was out of service, informs regional headquarters of the National Police on Saturday, March 13.
It is indicated that Subaru was moving from the city of Dobroslav in the direction of Odessa. On an unlit section of the road, he collided with a truck with a semi-trailer, which was parked in the far right lane.
“The driver died on the spot from his injuries. The circumstances of the accident are being established. The State Bureau of Investigation has been informed about the incident. The issue of his legal qualifications is being resolved,” the statement says.
Earlier it was reported that near Odessa in an accident involving a patrol police car a man died. Two more were injured. The police officers were suspended from duty for the duration of the investigation.
