Colombian singer Shakira has refused her ex-husband’s mother-in-law Gerard Pique’s request to remove the witch doll she had placed on her balcony overlooking her mother-in-law’s house.
According to health reports, the Colombian singer had placed on the balcony of her house in Barcelona a doll resembling a witch and overlooking the home of Gerard Pique, the retired Barcelona defender, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her children after separation.
Shakira and Montserrat Bernabeu, Gerard Pique’s mother, live in the same street, and last month the Colombian singer put a life-size doll representing a witch that frightened the mother of the former Spanish international.
She also put a loudspeaker that plays her new song, in which she accuses Pique of treason, continuously and loudly so that her mother can hear it.
According to journalist Mark Lerado, Pique’s mother went to Shakira’s apartment and demanded that the doll be removed. “Weeks ago, I received information that Gerrard’s mother was worried about an alleged ritual she was performing with a black witch,” the journalist said.
Despite the demands of Gerard Pique’s mother, the Mantserrat Bernabeu, the Colombian singer, Shakira, vehemently refused to remove the doll from the balcony of her house.
