The whole world at your fingertips. A player from Minecraft, PippenFTS, recreated the entire globe on an exact scale (1: 1), before posting the impressive result on YouTube.
“Minecraft is huge. It is so huge that you can fit the entire Earth into one map file, “ explains the player-architect-God in the stunning video presentation of his project.
To represent the Earth in real size, PippenFTS used two mods, these software designed by the community of a game and allowing to add or modify content.
The first, Cubic chunks, allows the player to shatter the usual limits of Minecraft maps, both in depth and in height – making the exploitable spaces almost infinite.

The other mod, Terra 1 to 1, is even more impressive: it allows you to download geographic and geological data of absolutely everything you want directly in the game. or the different types of soil across the planet.
The result is a truer than life virtual Earth where you can walk on Everest or in the Grand Canyon, reproduced identically. However, this titanic work is not entirely finished. The player has created a Discord server and a Patreon for everyone who wants to help him on his crazy quest.
