A firefighting plane of the General Directorate of Forestry has crashed in Kahramanmarash district, the Anatolian Agency reported. A rescue team has been sent to the area, it is not clear whether there are any survivors, Nova TV reports.
There were 7 people on board the Beriev Be-200 plane – three pilots, a navigator, a technician, an operator and an engineer, the Turkish private TV channel NTV reported.
There were five Russian servicemen and three representatives of the Turkish Republic on board.

The plane was chartered by Russia and operated in a fire brigade in Adana district.
