A plane that took off from Essey-lès-Nancy aerodrome (Meurthe-et-Moselle) in the afternoon this Friday, September 10, 2021, crashed near the aerodrome of Darois (Côte d’Or), near Dijon.
Three people, unidentified for the moment, died in the crash, according to the daily region The Public Good. The aircraft had taken off during the day from the suburbs of Nancy, from the aerodrome of Essey-lès-Nancy. It was to join that of Darois-Dijon located north of the Dijon agglomeration.
Ongoing investigation
The air transport gendarmerie brigade (BGTA) and criminal identification technicians from Dijon and Roissy-en-France (Val-d’Oise) are on site. Investigators from the Bureau of Investigation and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA) will be responsible for an investigation.
