Just like before promised we have now got a release date for A Plague Tale: Requiem, and in addition a really good gameplay review (at the bottom of the article) from this long-awaited sequel. The date to scribble down in the calendar is October 18, when it will be released for PC, Xbox Series X / S and Playstation 5.
Like its predecessor, we get to follow the siblings Amicia and Hugo, who have to watch out for crazy plague rats as well as soldiers. The duo are not fighters, but are slightly better equipped to tackle the dangers that await than in the first game, including with the help of a crossbow. In the trailer above, we also get to see Hugo use his ability to take advantage of the plague rats, for example by seeing enemies through walls.
Some of the courses will also be a little more open this time, with the opportunity to choose different paths and strategies, and just as before, sneaking seems important if you do not want to be overwhelmed.
October 18, it’s time for PC, Xbox Series X / S and Playstation 5, and it is also included in Game Pass from the start.
