Black plague fever returns to new consoles. In this sense, “A Plague Tale: Requiem” receives a gameplay trailer and release date.
In 2019, a Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio released a game with a different story, about a distant past that left a mark on humanity. Therefore, “A Plague Tale: Innocence” follows the young Amicia and her little brother Hugo, during the crisis of the Black Death of the 14th century, in a weakened France. At the same time, the duo face off against the forces of the Inquisition. With a captivating narrative and accessible gameplay, this game won several awards, being one of the surprises of the year.
In this sense, the producers announced the release date of the sequel, titled “A Plague Tale: Requiem”. Scheduled for October 18 this year. The new game follows the outcome of the first game six months later. Therefore, we will accompany Amicia and Hugo on their journey to the south of France, to a mysterious island. There they hope to find a cure for Hugo’s illness. In addition to the date, the producers offered players a gameplay trailer, where you can see the significant visual improvements.
Finally, “A Plague Tale: Requiem” will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. In addition, the sequel will receive a collector’s edition, with a figurine of Amicia and Hugo, along with other objects alluding to the story.
