Entry by a PiS deputy and former journalist, incl. TVP, concerned the program “It’s Worth Talking” hosted by Jan Pospieszalski every Monday on TVP3.
“How many of these people would be alive if it were not for primary care lockdown? When will vaccinated physicians start taking back patients? And why are physicians questioning the validity of current pandemic policies being disciplined? – this is how the episode of the program from Monday, April 12, was announced.
“Jan Pospieszalski is probably against lockdown, because he cannot earn money with concerts, but in the public media undermine the need to wear masks in the middle of a pandemic, act against restrictions, etc. – well, this is a scandal” – wrote Joanna Lichocka.
She also announced that she would ask the president of state television, Jacek Kurski, to explain “how is it possible that TVP broadcasts a program that attacks the fight against the epidemic”.
“This is another time when something like this happens on TVP. Unacceptable border crossing” – she wrote in the next entry.
Lichocka, as a member of the National Media Council, also announced a draft position of the council regarding the program on TVP3. “In my opinion, the scandalous message of the ‘It’s Worth Talking’ program on TVP requires a reaction from the National Media Council,” she added.
Janusz Kowalski, an MP from Solidarity of Poland, responded to Lichocka’s entries, pointing out that politicians of Zbigniew Ziobro’s party have not been invited as guests to TVP since December last. “Dear Joanna! And I am in favor of freedom of speech, discussion, lack of censorship. And I say this as a member of Solidarity Poland, whose politicians will not be present in TVP’s journalistic programs since December 9, 2020, because we defend sovereignty not in line with the government’s line. freedom on TVP! ” – he wrote.
“A program promoting lies, one-sided, striking the fight against the pandemic, thus endangering the health of many people. Crossing borders. It has nothing to do with freedom, with stupidity – at best – a lot” – Joanna Lichocka replied to Kowalski.
