In Bihar, locals are shocked after a pipe carrying Indian Oil Corporation petrol bursts. People came from distant places with containers in hand to collect the gasoline that fell into the field. The locals have been evacuated from here by the police.
The leak occurred in the pipeline carrying fuel to Assam. Gasoline flowed in the rice fields of Bakiya village. The whole place has been cordoned off by the police. All arson activities, including matches, are prohibited.
The Barauni oil refinery pipeline was buried. Indian Oil Corporation officials have initiated the necessary steps to repair the pipe rupture.
