Immediately, the Chinese Coast Guard began maneuvers to intercept the Philippine ships.
At 6:39 a.m., the Philippine ship ignored the warning from the Chinese side and deliberately rammed the Chinese Coast Guard vessel “21566”. The reason is an unprofessional and dangerous turn.
“This action violates the ‘International Rules for Preventing Collisions at Sea’ and the corresponding responsibility must be taken,” China’s coast guard said categorically.
