A person was slightly injured by gunfire during the night from Friday to Saturday, said police in the Brussels-Midi zone.
A suspect was arrested in the morning. A fight broke out around 2:30 a.m. between two people known to the police for their drug use, said the spokesperson for the Midi zone.

The events took place in a house on Rue Commandant Vander Meeren, in Anderlecht. The victim was shot in the leg. The suspect fled after the fight, before returning to the scene around 7:00 a.m.
The special unit from the Midi zone intervened in collaboration with colleagues from neighboring zones to apprehend the individual around 9:00 a.m. A helicopter was also mobilized.
According to the Midi police zone, the facts are not linked to the recent incidents that occurred in the Aumale district.
