According to publications on social networks, during the early hours of this Thursday, there was a traffic accident after the overturning of a tourist car, which left a balance of one person dead and other injuries.
The event occurred in Jagüey Grande, in the province of Matanzas, and in the images published by Alan Brito Prieto, it can be seen that several people were trapped in the vehicle-
Witnesses to the event approached the tourist car to try to help the victims, as can be seen in a video posted on the Facebook group “Bus & truck accidents due to more experiences and fewer victims.”
A paramedic from the SIUM (Integrated Medical Emergency System) identified as Leobel Gómez explained that he made a comment on the publication and explained that four people were taken from the car, two men and two women.

“One of them died on the spot and we transferred the other three to the Jagüey hospital. Two of them with injuries but not in danger to life, and one girl is in therapy, ventilated and in critical condition, ”she added.
At the moment, the identity of the people involved in the event is unknown.
It is worth noting that accidents in Cuba are very common, due to the poor condition of the roads and the fleet, coupled with the lack of signage and traffic lights, not to mention the recklessness of drivers.
These events continue to claim hundreds of lives, leaving high numbers that continue to rise year after year, according to official reports.
